Springfield offers a wealth of great local restaurants within walking distance to the Inn. We definitely recommend trying our sister properties, Obed & Isaac’s and Wm. Van’s Coffee.
Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery & Eatery is just blocks away at 500 South 6th Street and has a full, creative lunch and dinner menu as well as an extensive list of craft beer brewed on site. For coffee, pastries, and grab and go lunches all made from locally sourced ingredients, try Wm. Van’s Coffee House at 503 South 7th Street. It’s also close by in downtown Springfield. Please inquire at the front desk, and we will be happy to make additional recommendations based on your preferences.

What is your policy on children as guests?
Due to the historic nature of the Inn and the unique antiques furnishing each of our rooms, we recommend that guests be at least 13 years or older for safety purposes. Much of the decor was made long before current safety considerations were established, and we would like to avoid the possibility of injury or breakage.
